No Sailor w/ Bobby Murray opening

No Sailor is singer-songwriter Kieran Garvey and his five-piece folk band. Their fun and classical approach to folk has been described as "heartwarming and authentic" and “destined for the stages of Newport Folk Festival.”

Since their early days in small European cafes, No Sailor has a history of casting a wide net around their audience. Their captivating live show has earned them comparisons to The Head And The HeartGregory Alan Isakov, and The Lumineers. Garvey’s earnest songwriting, paired with a semi-classical band, has a profound way of playing on your heart strings. From the exuberance of ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors,’ to the melancholic strings on ‘Wedding Cake,’ the songs arc from euphoric folk rock to confessional orchestral ballads.

As a part time resident of the East End Kieran has spent many summers performing at bars and restaurants in the Hamptons, including the Montauk Music Fest and The Stephen Talkhouse. Their playful new single “Houdini” comes out October 18th and will be available on all streaming platforms.

Bobby Murray
Bobby Murray is a 26 year-old singer-songwriter and recent Bowdoin College and Berklee College of Music Graduate. While undergoing a fellowship in songwriting and poetry in Nashville, Bobby was profoundly influenced by the classic country sound. Having spent his life studying and performing R&B and blues, Bobby’s music quickly adopted a country twang, elevated by his rural upbringing in Yarmouth, Maine. While jazz piano was his concentration in college, Bobby now carries just a guitar to shows, singing everything from Ray Charles to Morgan Wallen. Bobby is currently working on new music and hopes that his upcoming country EP will help launch his career as a touring artist.
