The Om-en are a talented rising group of spiritually connected souls sharing the positive message and energy of their original songs. They have played locally for the last 5 years since their inception and have increased national visibility by popular demand. They will be playing locally at the Great South Bay Music Festival in July for the 7th consecutive year. The band has enjoyed critical success for the original songs on the first album “Songs for Family and Friends” and its second album “Om Will Take You Home” with singles of the title track and “I Am The Mountain” and “Should Have Been You.” It’s third album in production will be released in time for this Summer 2018 season and includes the song “Prayer for Peace”. The band recently played the Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah and is playing the Montauk Music Festival, the Strawberry Festival, Bellport Summer Concert series and many vineyard and other local venues this Summer and Fall. It is playing Summer Festival in August in Tampa/ Clearwater/St. Pete’s Beach. The Om-en have been fortunate to play before such notaries BB King and the Doobie Brothers and last year on the final day at GSBMF before Graham Nash.

  • Stephen Talkhouse will be Closed until June 1st
We will be closed until June 1st After a week-long deliberation, we have decided that it is in the community's best interest that the Talkhouse close for two weeks. We are in uncharted waters and we will be monitoring the spread, and hopefully the containment, of the virus. This is a tough decision for us as we know we provide an outlet for people to have a good time. We feel that everyone's safety and health is what we should focus on until we have a better grasp of the situation. During the next two weeks we will be installing hand sanitizer's throughout the bar. We also will be instituting sanitizing protocols when we do open. To all our patrons, musicians, and everyone else we ask that you take this situation seriously and stay safe and healthy. When we do open please stay home if you suspect that you may be ill. We will update you if anything changes. Again, please stay safe.
