Joe Delia & Thieves
Join in on the excitement that is Joe Delia & Thieves.
Hear why they fill venues all over the tri-state area.
See the showmanship that involves the audience.
Feel the bluesy beat filling the dance floors.
Listen to some of the best original music around,
including very popular songs like “Under the Montauk Moon”, “Rock and Roll ‘til the Day I Die”, and “Getting Over Jane” (which never fails to fill the dance floor). Newer songs are being served up all the time, the latest “Kickin’ & Screamin’”.
Joe Delia, a gold and platinum record Producer and Writer, penned these tunes. Delia is internationally-known as a blazing keyboardist, touring with everyone from Stevie Wonder to Pat Benatar. It was Delia’s arrangement of “Hot, Hot, Hot” that brought the song to the world with partner David Johansen. Joe has also played onstage with Bruce Springsteen many times, most recently last Autumn.
Delia’s list of rock and roll credits goes on and on, but he is also known for film scoring. Joe is well known for his film scores for director Abel Ferrara, including “King of New York”, “Bad Lieutenant” and “China Girl”. He has composed scores for over thirty feature films. Delia has also scored hundreds of television episodes, including series for Nova and National Geographic.
Thieves is Billy Roues (guitar, vocals), Steven “Muddy” Roues (harp, bass, vocals), James Benard (drums, vocals), Klyph Black (guitar, vocals), Mick Hargreaves (bass, vocals), and PJ Delia (background vocals).
