It’s a</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">record that will thrill both newcomers and fans who have trailed Eddie since the start,</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">showcasing his fresh, fiery spin on Southern soul, blues, rock and funk, with his</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">signature wit and sharp observations of modern America placing him squarely in the</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">here-and-now. “I do think it’s a wonderful road trip album,” he nods.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Eddie 9V has powered up. From the day he first slung a guitar on a local stage, the Georgia-born band leader announced himself as an artist to watch. But in the last few</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">meteoric years, Eddie’s music has crossed oceans and airwaves, transcending his</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">cult-hero status to become a beacon for fans of real music everywhere. “Eddie 9V is</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">something else,” wrote the UK’s Classic Rock. “A man who genuinely inhabits golden-era American roots, playing the most instinctive blues you’ll hear all year.”</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Check out the gig listings and you’ll find this rising star playing a bigger club every</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">time he blows through town. Scan the charts and you’ll find his most recent album,</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">2022’s ‘Capricorn’, locking horns with the giants of rock ‘n’ roll. “Capricorn debuted at</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">#1 and that was a cool feeling for a week, until Bonnie Raitt kicked us off,” reflects</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Eddie with a smile. “But hey, that’s a cool story to be able to say…”</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">We’ve rode shotgun with Eddie for a couple of decades now. Born Brooks Mason in</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">June 1996, he was playing guitar by the age of six (“One of those with the speaker in</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">it – the most bang for your buck, y’know?”). Even then, manufactured pop music held</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">nothing for him, and his years at Union Grove High School were instead soundtracked</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">by local heroes like Sean Costello, alongside his studies of “older cats” like Muddy</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Freddie King and Rory Gallagher.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">“I wanted to see what made them groove and tick,” he explains. “I’ve been making up</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">lyrics on the spot for years. I believe that came from my Uncle Brian at our family fish</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">fries – he taught me about what made people laugh and what kept the audience’s</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">attention.”</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Coming up on his home state’s live circuit – first with cover band The Smokin’ Frogs,</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">then with highly rated blues-rockers The Georgia Flood – Mason soon turned heads,</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">even representing the Atlanta Blues Society at the 2013 International Blues Challenge</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">in Memphis. But his true birth as an artist came when he buried his birth name and</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">adopted that striking solo moniker. “A lot of people wanted me to be the Brooks</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Mason Blues Band, but that’s been done,” he reasons. “I wanted to start from scratch</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">– and I ain’t never heard of no bluesman named Eddie 9V.”</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">From the start, Eddie’s output pricked up ears, with 2019’s </span><em><span style="font-weight:400">Left My Soul In Memphis</span></em></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">dubbed “fresh and life-affirming” by Rock &amp; Blues Muse and the chaotic free-for-all of</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">2021’s </span><em><span style="font-weight:400">Little Black Flies</span></em><span style="font-weight:400"> praised by Classic Rock as “like having all your best mates in</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">the speakers”. In 2023, he got his best reviews yet for ‘Capricorn’, a record tracked at</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">the near-mythical Macon studio of the same name, that led The Guardian and NME’s</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Henry Yates to declare: “As an artist, he sounds fully charged”.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">But the great artists evolve, and in both its songcraft and execution, ‘Saratoga’ finds</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Eddie painting with more colors from his palette. “I was shooting for a more</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Americana-type album this time, less blues songs and solos and more focusing on the</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">songwriting,” he explains of the eleven originals co-written with his brother, the much-</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">respected Southern musician, Lane Kelly. Unlike the anarchy of earlier albums,</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">meanwhile, the sessions mostly saw the multi-instrumentalist siblings hunkered down</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">at their own Echo Deco Studio in Atlanta, self-producing the new tracks with Patrick</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Meese and inviting guest players to supply horns, fiddle and lap steel.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">“It was definitely more me and my brother in our home studio recording everything.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">There’s a lot of guests, for sure, but it was mainly overdubbing. We did the songs</span></p><p><em><span style="font-weight:400">Saratoga</span></em><span style="font-weight:400">, </span><em><span style="font-weight:400">Delta</span></em><span style="font-weight:400"> and </span><em><span style="font-weight:400">Halo</span></em><span style="font-weight:400"> at Crown Lanes Studio in Denver and it was nice to take a</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">break, walk outside, see the mountains, feel the fresh air. At our studio, it’s just muggy</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">with mosquitoes. But sometimes it’s good to not have distractions.”</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Likewise, the new songs of ‘Saratoga’ deserve nothing less than your full attention.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Eddie’s latest album announces his new groove with the crisp, purposeful beats of the</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">opening title track, an instant favorite that gets under your skin with its almost disco-</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">style harmonies and joust of horns and slide guitar. <p>Jesse Roper is a blues/Americana artist with a penchant for writing modern indie <br />infused blues music and delivering bombastic live performances buoyed by his virtuosic <br />guitar playing. His innate and impressive musical talent has served him well, giving him <br />the exibility to play with soul icon Booker T. Jones, rock veteran Colin James, blues <br />belter Beth Hart, and Canadian legend Burton Cummings. The stage is where Roper <br />shines. It has been his home since overcoming crippling stage fright during his early <br />twenties. Fear is a part of Roper’s past that barely seems real today - especially when <br />you you see the in-concert image of a six-string soldier, hair matted to his face, tearing up <br />the stage, without a hint of second guessing. <br />Roper’s last album ‘Horizons’ marked a sonic high point in his career thus far. <p>Common Ground is Long Island’s premier party rock band, playing the classic hits and the “lost hits” from the 1980’s MTV Generation!  Common Ground is best known for their high energy live sets, frequently receiving accolades for song selection and live performance.    CG has an extensive song portfolio and they cover many musical genres.  </p><p>Common Ground “CG” was formed in 2013 by guitarist John LaCorte. The concept around the band name is twofold - CG relates to the appeal of the music to a wide variety of people, and speaks to the dynamics of band members finding “common ground” in musical direction and vision.  </p><p>The origin of the band dates all the way back to 2003- when LaCorte joined local band 11 Ways, which featured the strong lead singer duo of Rob and Perry Cuni.  The band played the local Long Island club scene for over a decade.   When the band split up in 2012, LaCorte formed CG, carefully selecting positive attitude, high energy and talented musicians to join the new project.    In addition to reuniting with the Cuni brothers, the current lineup includes keyboardist Jeff Naness, drummer Rob Noxious and bassist Rich Bente. In 2023 the band added female lead singer Laurie Munch Dz to the lineup.</p><p>In 2017- CG was honored to be selected to open for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Blondie at the Tilles Center.  You can catch Common Ground at many of Long Island’s top bars and venues. The seasoned group of musicians have shared the stage with members of Zebra, Rainbow, and Nine Days. </p>

<p>Roses Grove Band: RGB are known for their exploratory improvisation of the Grateful Dead&#39;s folk- rock and Americana sound. Their live performances are high energy, adventurous, and dynamic. Their set lists are also laden with extended jams, unique segues, delicate transitions between songs, and three part vocal harmonies.</p>

<h1>The Foundation</h1><p>The Kendall Madison Foundation was formed in 2000 to provide more than just an annual scholarship. The Foundation provides financial contributions to help the East End community such as The Kendall Madison Fitness Center as well as financial assistance to those in need for the purposes of enhancing their student-athlete experience. Over $100,000 has been gifted to individuals and organizations since its inception.</p><h1>The Scholarship Fund</h1><p>The Kendall Madison Scholarship Fund was established in 1995 in memory of Kendall Madison, a model student-athlete who was tragically lost at the age of 21. Kendall was beloved by the East End and UCONN community and the scholarship was created in his honor to reward a male and female student athlete who exemplifies Kendall&#39;s core characteristics of being a role model for the community, not only in sports but community service and academics as well.</p>

<p>Nancy Atlas and her band of Journeymen have been dominating the East End Music scene or Long Island for quite some time. Known for her raw, live performances and stellar songwriting Nancy and her band, The Nancy Atlas Project, have opened for almost everyone under the sun. To name a few: Elvis Costello, Lucinda Williams, Toots and the Maytals, Jimmy Buffett, Crosby, Stills and Nash… the list goes on and on. The reason is simple. When people want a solid act to open their show and get the crowd warmed up, they call  Nancy and her boys because they know they will deliver. Every time.<br />Nancy grew up with gypsy blood in Commack, NY. Eager to get the buck out of dodge she spent her entire college years abroad at both Cambridge University in England and Richmond College in London and Florence.  She majored in art history, fine art, drinking lots of wine and talking shit. There was a serious recession going on the year she graduated college so instead of becoming a mad advertising executive she walked down to Portabello Road, London, bought a guitar for 60 quid and never looked back. It was pouring buckets of English rain that day so they gave her a black plastic bag to cover her guitar as it didn’t come with a case. Nothing, it is said, can stop true desire.<br />Nancy now lives in Montauk, New York with her husband Thomas and her two sons, Cash and Levon, and her daughter Tallulah. When she is not writing a song or on stage rocking out, she can be found clamming with her kids, surfing with her kids, walking with her kids, reading with her kids or <a href="http://nancyatlas.com/?page_id&#61;285">cartooning</a> for her kids. On rainy days she lazily traces tour maps of Europe with her right hand while sipping her beloved PG Tibs English Tea and smiling out into the East End Mist.</p><blockquote></blockquote>

<p>Black &amp; Yellow is the collaboration of local Hamptons frontman Ray Ramos and renown drummer Julian Edmond, both formerly of the band Hello Brooklyn. The band&#39;s lineup also features NYC-based singer Jason Karnell, who will co-front the band with Ramos. Black&amp;Yellow promises to feature musical selections from the early days of Motown, dance and R&amp;B to hip-hop and chart topping hits today.</p>

<p>When you hear Annie Trezza it&#39;s often hard to believe that all that sound comes out of one person. With groovy guitar riffs, 60&#39;s inspired melodies, and transportive lyrics, she projects an energy well beyond her size. Upon listening to Dylan and Beatles records on repeat at a young age, she felt compelled to pick up a guitar and start writing her own tunes at age 14. She spends her summers playing all around her home in Montauk, NY. In the off-season when she&#39;s not chasing the waves she&#39;s writing new music, and continuing to play anywhere in the world she finds herself. Between her distinctive voice and her poetic lyrics, it&#39;s hard not to get a little carried away when listening to any of her tunes. And that&#39;s okay because that&#39;s exactly what they&#39;re meant to do. With an album to follow, her EP Blue Suitcase #2 was released December 2019.</p>

Partly<br />made in collaboration with esteemed producers like Jonathan Singleton (Luke Combs, Chase Rice),<br />John Shanks (Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow), and Jesse Frasure (Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini), the result is<br />a transcendent double album firmly rooted in their timeless musicality and forward-thinking vision.<br />“There’s a spirit in the walls at FAME that I could hear speaking to us—I could feel Wilson Pickett<br />and Percy Sledge and the Allman Brothers, all telling us to be honest and humble and take this<br />moment very seriously,” says Michael. “The goal was to pull from the energy of the past and the<br />present, and come up with something that becomes part of the future.”<br />In a potent introduction to the album’s sonic magnificence, Plus One opens on “Love Like Whiskey”:<br />a soul-soothing portrait of a love strong enough to overcome any obstacle, co-written by the<br />Trotters and country queen Miranda Lambert. “We’ve been friends with Miranda for a while, and we<br />all got together and decided to write a song about how Michael and I work through those times<br />when we’re not getting along,” Tanya explains. With its radiant guitar work, rousing horns, and<br />beautifully lived-in storytelling, “Love Like Whiskey” finds The War And Treaty leaning further into<br />their deep-seated love of country while boldly expanding the genre’s boundaries. “In the past we’ve<br />been told our sound wasn’t radio-friendly, but over time we started getting attention from country<br />radio,” says Michael. “We’ve been seeing a lot of new artists pushing the envelope as far as what<br />country music can be, so we decided, ‘Why not join them, and push it our own way?’”<br />Both exquisitely gifted vocalists, Michael and Tanya trade off verses all throughout Plus One to share<br />their distinct perspective on their one-of-a-kind love story—a dynamic put to dazzling use on songs<br />like “Can I Get An Amen.” Over the course of the hard-hitting but exuberant track, the two present<br />an up-close glimpse into their daily lives and the countless ways in which they lift each other up<br />(from the opening lyrics, delivered by Michael: “Sunday morning, she’s a bona fide preacher/Laying<br />hands all over me”). “When I sing that line, it’s a true statement about when I was going through the<br />height of my PTSD and Tanya would massage me to calm me down,” says Michael, an Iraq War<br />veteran and wounded warrior. “The whole song came from being thankful for the seven days a week<br />I get to spend with Tanya, and all the good that can come when I really open up and let her in.”<br />One of the most thrilling moments on Plus One, “Carried Away” revels in the unending passion at<br />the heart of their romance. “Sometimes we have to sit back and marvel at the fact that we’ve been<br />together for 15 years,” says Tanya. “So many marriages crumble a few years in, but with us it just<br />keeps getting better and better with time.” In a particularly brilliant move, “Carried Away” takes the<br />shape of a pedal-steel-laced honky-tonk ballad during the verses, then slips into a groove-heavy R&amp;B<br />slow-burner at the chorus. “The most important part about nailing that song was making sure that<br />Tanya and I were in the same room, vibing off each other,” Michael recalls. “We put our foreheads<br />together and left that space between our lips, and then just moved together like the ocean.”<br />Endlessly revealing the incredible depth of their musicianship, Plus One encompasses everything<br />from the moody bluegrass romp of “Drink From Me” (featuring virtuoso guitarist Billy Strings) to<br />the wildly ecstatic “Called You By Your Name” (a breakneck-paced rallying cry influenced by the<br />Black gospel tradition of shout music). On “Skyscraper,” the duo serve up a stomp-and-clap anthem<br />graced with guest vocals from their daughter (Courtney Trotter) and Michael’s mother (Deborah<br />Trotter), transforming the track into a triumphant family affair. “When you look up at all those<br />skyscrapers in New York City, you don’t usually think about what it took to build them,” says<br />Michael. “We know that sometimes it takes a lot of pain and struggle and loneliness to get to where<br />you’re meant to be, so we wrote that song to remind everyone that we’re all beautiful skyscrapers<br />with a story to tell.” And on “Tunnel Vision,” The War And Treaty lay down a fiery country-rock<br />banger declaring their determination to fully live their truth. “I started writing that song during the<br />pandemic, which reminded us how we need to stay focused on doing what brings us joy,” says<br />Michael. “It’s about coming out of that experience with a victorious mindset and telling the world,<br />‘We’ve got a goal in mind, and we’re not going to let anyone or anything get in our way.’”<br />In selecting a title for their latest album, The War And Treaty chose to honor the once-in-a-lifetime<br />connection evident in everything they create. Now based in Nashville, the two first met at a<br />Maryland music festival in 2010 and instantly discovered an undeniable chemistry despite their<br />disparate backgrounds. To that end, Tanya grew up near Washington, D.C., and found success as a<br />singer and actress as a teenager, while Michael taught himself to play piano while encamped in one<br />of Saddam Hussein’s palaces during his time in the military. Within several years of crossing paths,<br />the duo co-founded The War And Treaty and set off on an unstoppable rise that’s now included<br />sharing stages with such eclectic artists as Chris Stapleton and Al Green, performing twice at the<br />White House, joining forces with Zach Bryan on his platinum-certified smash “Hey Driver”<br />(nominated for a People’s Choice Country Award), and amassing an ever-growing list of accolades<br />and award nominations. But for Michael and Tanya, the duo’s greatest achievement lies in the<br />constant growth of their adoring and deeply engaged fanbase. “We hear a lot from veterans who tell<br />us our music inspires them to keep holding on, and from young girls who look up to Tanya and<br />show us the pictures they’ve drawn of her,” he notes. “We’ve also seen people fall in love at our<br />shows, and then get in touch later to let us know that one of our songs was the first dance at their<br />wedding. It’s becoming a whole culture cultivated in love.”<br />As they get set to tour in support of Plus One, The War And Treaty look forward to joining their fans<br />in rejoicing in the album’s mood of unbridled gratitude and full-hearted celebration. “At a time<br />when human connection is being threatened by AI and all the division happening in our country, I<br />think a lot of us are thirsting to really connect with others,” says Michael. “We want our live show to<br />be a place where you can be around other likeminded people, where we can all get together and let<br />the love wash over all the pain we’ve experienced. Michael also writes and produces original songs that he has licensed for film, television, and broadcast radio. </p><p>Jeff Levitt – lead guitar and vocals. Jeff has been playing lead guitar in numerous rock bands for decades, covering everybody from The Beatles to The Allman Brothers and Steely Dan.   He is the lead guitarist with The Moondogs since 2016. Jeff is also a member of The Steven Tekulsky Band / Steven Tekulsky Trio and is a frequent member of Sarah Conway and the Playful Souls.</p><p>David Zensky – lead guitar and vocals.  David is a Long Island native and lifelong rock &#39;n&#39; roll roller, most recently playing in some of New York City&#39;s favorite tribute bands, including Mockingbird Hill, Local Heroes, The Letterbombs and Tumblweed Connection.</p><p>Paul Brokaw – keyboards and vocals. Paul is another lifelong rocker and is also a prolific composer having written, recorded and produced over 600 pieces of music published in over 36 countries around the world. Paul has played in numerous bands for decades and is currently a longtime member of Damaged Goods and Ken McGorry and the Achievements.</p><p>Troy Grindle – bass and vocals. Troy is a multi-instrumentalist (bass guitar, guitar, drums, violin, keyboards) best known as a member of Real East End Brass (REEB!). He also performs with Peconic County Ramblers, Hamptons Chamber Orchestra and Alhambra Orchestra</p><p>Mark Pohl – drums and vocals. <p>In 2015 six lifelong musicians came from all across the country (well, just San Francisco and New York, but whatever) to form a band that is too hot for the police, fireman, and many many others. </p><p>Rated Fresh throw down harder than your typical party band with a setlist you won&#39;t hear anywhere else, including Top 40 mashups, 90s throwbacks, 60s and 70s classics, and musicianship beyond their years.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight:400">Often referred to as “The Hendrix of the Sahara”, Vieux Farka Touré was born in Niafunké, Mali in 1981. He is the son of legendary Malian guitar player Ali Farka Touré, who died in 2006. Ali Farka Touré came from a historical tribe of soldiers, and defied his parents in becoming a musician. When Vieux was in his teens, he declared that he also wanted to be a musician. His father disapproved due to the pressures he had experienced being a musician. Rather, he wanted Vieux to become a soldier. But with help from family friend the kora maestro Toumani Diabaté, Vieux eventually convinced his father to give him his blessing to become a musician shortly before Ali passed.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Vieux was initially a drummer / calabash player at Mali’s Institut National des Arts, but secretly began playing guitar in 2001. Ali Farka Touré was weakened with cancer when Vieux announced that he was going to record an album. Ali recorded a couple of tracks with him, and these recordings, which can be heard on Vieux’s debut CD, were amongst his final ones. It has been said that the senior Touré played rough mixes of these songs when people visited him in his final days, at peace with, and proud of, his son’s talent as a musician.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">In 2005, Eric Herman (still Vieux’s manager today) of Modiba Productions expressed an interest in producing an album for Vieux; this led to Vieux’s self-titled debut album, released by World Village in 2007. Ali Farka Touré’s work to tackle the problem of malaria is continued as 10% of proceeds are donated to Modiba’s “Fight Malaria” campaign in Niafunké through which over 3000 mosquito nets have been delivered to children and pregnant women in the Timbuktu region of Mali. On this first album, Vieux pays homage to his father and follows Ali’s musical tradition, giving new versions of the West African music that is echoed in the American blues. The album features Toumani Diabaté, as well as his late father.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">On his second record, Fondo on Six Degrees (2009), Vieux branched out and presented his own sound: while remaining true to the roots of his father’s music he uses elements of rock, Latin music, and other African influences. The album received a great deal of critical acclaim from across the globe, and Vieux was clearly moving out of his father’s shadow.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">By June 2010, Vieux was performing at the opening concert for the FIFA World Cup in South Africa. That month Vieux also released his first live album, LIVE. His live performances are highly energized and Vieux is known for dazzling crowds with his speed and dexterity on the guitar, as well as his palpable charisma and luminous smile, both of which captivate audiences from all audiences in spite of any language barriers (though Vieux does speak 8 languages).</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">In 2011 Vieux released his 3rd studio album, The Secret, so named because the listener will hear the secret of the blues with a blend of generations from father to son. It was produced by guitarist Eric Krasno (of the Soulive trio) and features South African-born vocalist Dave Matthews, Derek Trucks on electric slide guitar and jazz guitarist John Scofield. The title track is the last collaboration between Vieux and his late father. With the heralded release of The Secret, Vieux Farka Touré has clearly established himself as one of the world’s rare musical talents and guitar virtuosos with a distinct style that always pays homage to the past while looking towards the future.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Vieux released The Tel Aviv Session (Cumbancha) in April 2012, a collaborative project with Israeli superstar Idan Raichel dubbed ‘The Touré-Raichel Collective’ that has been hailed by fans and critics alike as a masterpiece and one of the best collaborative albums in the history of international music, drawing comparisons to Ali Farka Touré and Ry Cooder’s legendary Talking Timbuktu album.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">In 2013, Vieux Farka Touré’s beautiful and critically acclaimed album Mon Pays was released as an homage to his homeland. Being that his native Mali had recently been splintered by territorial fighting between Tuareg and Islamic rebels since January 2012, Mon Pays was devoted to reminding the world about the beauty and culture of his native Mali. Translated as ‘My Country,’ this predominantly acoustic undertaking transformed into an artifact of cultural preservation. Two songs on the project - ‘Future’ and ‘Peace’ feature Sidiki Diabate’s kora leading an emotional charge complemented by Touré’s spectacular guitar work. Both tracks represent an important generational “passing of the torch” as Sidiki’s father, Toumani is considered one of the greatest living kora masters and was a close friend of Vieux’s father Ali. Mon Pays has been widely hailed as the most mature and lovely record yet from one of this generation’s most exciting artists to come out of Mali and one of world music’s true rising stars.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">Vieux reunited with Idan Raichel in Paris to record, release and subsequently tour their 2nd collaborative album as The Touré-Raichel Collective in 2014. The result was yet another musical and critical triumph, titled &#39;The Paris Session&#39; (Cumbancha) revered by many as not just a musical gem for the ages, but a powerful testimonial to the power of art and fraternity to transcend vast cultural and political divides. In 2015, Vieux released another unexpected, genre-bending collaborative album, this time with New York-based singer Julia Easterlin, aptly titled &#39;Touristes&#39;. The album shot to the top of the iTunes World chart and earned critical acclaim, including that of John Schaefer (NPR) who called it &#34;brilliant.&#34; On April 7, 2017, Vieux released his next album &#39;Samba&#39;, recorded live in front of a small audience at Applehead Studio in Woodstock, NY.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">When the COVID pandemic hit in 2020 and all touring ground to a halt, Vieux stayed focussed on his craft at home. He worked tirelessly in the studio he built at his family&#39;s compound (which he named &#39;Studio Ali Farka Toure&#39; in honor of his late father) to record his debut album for World Circuit Records/BMG, the prestigious UK-based record label with whom his father recorded and released most of his own work. The resulting album, &#39;Les Racines&#39; (released June 2022), sees Vieux masterfully return to the deep roots of the Desert Blues music that his father introduced to the world and Vieux spent most of his career to date exploring, experimenting with, and expanding. 2022 also saw the release of a long-awaited collaborative album between Vieux and Houston-based psych-rock superstars Khruangbin called ‘Ali’ - an album on which the artists join forces to pay homage to Ali Farka Toure by reimagining eight of his songs together.  The album was an instant hit around the globe, immediately getting millions of streams, enormous critical acclaim and even earning the praise of Sir Elton John who called it &#34;one of the albums of the year - absolutely wonderful music.&#34; With each new project Vieux broadens his horizons, embraces new challenges and further entrenches his reputation as one of the world’s most talented and innovative musicians.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400">As a passionate champion for the people of Mali and The Sahel, Vieux founded the charity Amahrec Sahel in 2012. As part of Amahrec Sahel’s mission to support humanitarian reconstruction and culture, the charity has provided school supplies for children, supported an orphanage in Bamako and provided musical instruments for young musicians in Mali. Vieux is also the director of The Ali Farka Touré Foundation, an international organization dedicated to the preservation of Ali’s legacy and the cultural growth of Mali.</span></p>

And yet Fantastic Cat did it anyway, defying the odds and teaming up to record their highly unanticipated 2022 debut, The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat. <p>Alternative/pop rock band - Kids That Fly - formed in the fall of 2018, while attending the University of Connecticut. It wasn’t long before they fell into a rhythm playing shows around CT while simultaneously commuting in and out of NYC for recording both in Manhattan and Brooklyn; they have been on a trajectory ever since. In 2024, Kids That Fly take their alt/pop melodies and electrifying live show on the road, up and down the East Coast and beyond.</p>

Four Way Street harmonies are built around three outstanding singers, each bringing unique talent and timbre with meticulous attention to detail that truly make the whole greater than the sum of its parts.</p><p>This five-piece ensemble captures the full dynamic range of the CSNY song catalogue, from the softest ballads to the hardest rockers.  The members of Four Way Street have performed with some of the top bands on Long Island and the tri-state area, including Fast Lane (Eagles), Copperline (James Taylor) and Badlands (Springsteen). <div><div><p>Americana and roots singer-songwriter Jackie Greene is a jack-of-all-trades, and an artist who can croon over soulful piano ballads as much as he can shred a bluesy guitar solo (like he did as the lead guitarist for The Black Crowes in 2013). A road warrior and musician&#39;s musician, Greene&#39;s new EP &#39;The Modern Lives - Vol 2&#39; (out October 2018 on Blue Rose Music) finds him at a new chapter in his life: his first months of fatherhood, time off his relentless touring circuit, and a cross-country move from Brooklyn to his birthplace of Northern California. </p><p>This new collection of six original songs is a thematic extension of &#39;The Modern Lives - Vol 1&#39; EP (released in 2017 on Blue Rose Music), imbued with a Brooklyn basement DIY feel and ethos. He is a student of American music, transfixed upon its progression through time, as well as how regional sounds fit in a contemporary context. Whereas &#39;Vol 1&#39; saw Greene experiment with the Delta blues as a canvas for his examinations of modern society, &#39;Vol 2&#39; sees Greene embrace the sounds of the bluegrass and folk tapes of his youth.</p><p>Lead single &#34;Crazy Comes Easy&#34; showcases Greene&#39;s dynamic, multi-instrumental range as he plays slide guitar, organ, bass, and percussion, the guitar licks an appreciative nod to his time in The Black Crowes. Meanwhile, &#34;Good Old Bad Times&#34; highlights Greene as the songwriter as he rattles off lines like &#34;How can somebody find a future? / If they ain&#39;t got a foothold in the past?&#34; while taking a critical eye to the idea of nostalgia. Piano ballad &#34;Victim Of The Crime&#34; was one of Jackie&#39;s oldest demos up until the feel of these sessions gave him the tools to finish a song that, in his words, was written for his wife before she was his wife. While the title possesses a kind of melodrama, the song itself is tender and heartfelt as he details love&#39;s trials and tribulations.  </p><p>Greene partnered with Academy Award-nominated &#34;king of indie animation&#34; Bill Plympton for a series of music videos for &#39;The Modern Lives - Vol 1&#39; that would eventually become an animated short film titled &#39;The Modern Lives&#39;. The film is currently making the rounds at film festivals where it has already won the Jury Award at the USA Film Festival in Dallas, TX, and the Grand Remi Award / Best in Show at WorldFest in Houstin, TX. The short is also being exhibited at the 71st Festival de Cannes/Court Metrage, Melbourne International Animation Festival, and ASIFA-East Festival, amongst others.</p></div></div><div><div></div></div><div><div><p>Since the release of his critically-acclaimed debut album &#39;Gone Wanderin’&#39;, Greene has built an enduring audience through a relentless touring schedule with the likes of BB King, Mark Knopfler, Susan Tedeschi, and Taj Mahal. He played lead guitar with The Black Crowes on their Layin’ Down With #13 World Tour, recorded and toured with Trigger Hippy - his supergroup with Joan Osborne - and in the last four years performed over 300 shows of his own, all while continuing to record and release his solo work. Founded in 2023, Seconds Out endeavors to play faithfully not only the more rock-driven songs (and some pop hits!) under Phil Collins’ term, but the rich and complex musical pieces from the Peter Gabriel era as well. In just over a year, they’ve secured a loyal fan base, drawn to the band’s high energy, attention to detail, and shared love of the music of Genesis. <p><em>Mo Lowda &amp; the Humble are a self-produced indie rock band hailing from Philadelphia.  The band is set to released their 5th studio album on June 20th, 2025, entitled: Tailing the Ghost.  Since releasing their debut album in 2013, they’ve vastly expanded the sonic exploration of their recorded material whilst developing a dialed-in, yet energetic live show through persistent touring. In turn, they’ve built a ravenous and loyal following across the country, selling out clubs and theaters throughout the US each year. &#39;Tailing the Ghost&#39; was recorded entirely on the road, with the majority of the songs being cut almost entirely live.  It is Mo Lowda&#39;s most cohesive, yet explorative album to date.  The band tours year around, often playing over 90 shows a year. </em></p>

<p>King Yellowman <br />Jamaica&#39;s first dancehall superstar, Yellowman ushered in a new era in reggae music following Bob Marley&#39;s death. His early-&#39;80s success <br />brought the popularity of toasting -- the reggae equivalent of rapping -- to a whole new level, and helped establish dancehall as the wave of the <br />future. For better or for worse, he also epitomized dancehall&#39;s penchant for &#34;slack&#34; lyrics -- that is, casual violence, sexism, homophobia, and <br />general rudeness. Graphic sexuality was his particular forte, reaching levels of explicitness previously unheard in Jamaica. It brought him <br />numerous detractors, but it was also a big reason for his early popularity. There was more to it than that, though; Yellowman was one of the most <br />verbally nimble toasters of his time, with a loose, easy flow, a talent for improvisation, and a definite wit in his wordplay. Plus, all the boasting <br />about his prowess on the mic or in the bedroom had to be over the top to be convincing: true to his stage name, Yellowman is an albino, which <br />carries a tremendous social stigma in Jamaica. His rise to stardom was unlikely enough, but his transformation from untouchable outcast into <br />sex symbol was staggering -- and may not even have taken place without his trademark lewdness. Shocking though it could be, it affirmed him <br />as a sexual being just like his listeners, and was delivered with enough humor to let the audience know that he didn&#39;t take himself too seriously. <br />Bouts with cancer pushed him into more thoughtful, socially conscious territory in the 1990s, but his initial style remains the most influential, <br />paving the way for countless dancehall toasters to follow. He remained quiet through most of the 2000s before mounting a comeback with 2019&#39;s <br />No More War. <br />Yellowman was born Winston Foster in Negril, Jamaica, in 1959 (some accounts say 1956). An early target for abuse because of his albinism, <br />he grew up in an institution in Kingston, with little to keep him company besides music. Influenced by early toasting DJs like U-Roy, he practiced <br />rhyming and got a job with the Gemini Sound System as a substitute DJ. Christening himself Yellowman and dressing in a bright yellow suit, he <br />peppered his lyrics with jokes about his skin color and outlandish tales of his sexual conquests. In 1979, he won a landslide victory at the <br />well-known Tastee Talent Contest, and within months he had become one of Jamaica&#39;s top concert draws, thanks to a dynamic, humorous stage <br />show in which he often used the microphone to mimic his anatomical gifts. <br />Yellowman recorded prolifically in the early &#39;80s, at one point flooding the Jamaican market with more than 40 singles. His first full-length album, <br />Them a Mad Over Me, was recorded for Channel One in 1981 and featured the hit title track and the single &#34;Me Kill Barnie,&#34; an answer record to <br />Lone Ranger&#39;s hit &#34;Barnabas Collins.&#34; He also scored with singles like &#34;Operation Eradication&#34; and the infamously slack &#34;Shorties,&#34; which Peter <br />Tosh condemned as degrading to women (hardly the first time such a criticism would be leveled at him). Despite this success, Yellowman didn&#39;t <br />truly hit his stride on record until he hooked up with groundbreaking dancehall producer Henry &#34;Junjo&#34; Lawes. The 1982 LP Mister Yellowman <br />kicked off their collaboration; released internationally by Greensleeves, it started to break him in the U.K. and U.S., and is still often acclaimed as <br />his best album. It also launched a series of Jamaican hit singles over the next few years that included &#34;Yellowman Getting Married&#34; (a rewrite of <br />the My Fair Lady number &#34;I&#39;m Getting Married in the Morning&#34;), &#34;Mr. Chin,&#34; &#34;Who Can Make the Dance Ram&#34; (a rewrite of &#34;The Candy Man&#34;), <br />&#34;Zungguzungguguzungguzeng&#34; (sampled by several hip-hop acts), &#34;The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,&#34; &#34;Soldier Take Over,&#34; &#34;Nobody Move <br />Nobody Get Hurt,&#34; and &#34;Wreck a Pum Pum,&#34; among others. Many of his recordings during this era featured vocal contributions from fellow <br />DJ/toaster Fathead, whose specialty was punctuating lines with animal noises (&#34;ribbit&#34; and &#34;oink&#34; were his favorites). <br />After 1983&#39;s Zungguzungguguzungguzeng album, Yellowman signed a major-label deal with CBS Records, which encouraged him to maintain <br />the stylistic versatility of his previous work. However, his lone album for the label, 1984&#39;s King Yellowman, sported mixed results, attempting <br />everything from slack toasts to R&amp;B and pop-tinged crossover tracks, including covers of &#34;Sea Cruise&#34; and &#34;Take Me Home Country Roads,&#34; and <br />the much-maligned fusion attempt &#34;Disco Reggae.&#34; He subsequently released several albums on Shanachie, including 1984&#39;s Nobody Move <br />Nobody Get Hurt, 1985&#39;s Galong Galong Galong, 1986&#39;s Going to the Chapel, and 1987&#39;s Don&#39;t Burn It Down. The latter found him delving <br />more into social consciousness; the title cut was a pro-marijuana protest, while &#34;Stop Beat Woman&#34; condemned domestic violence and &#34;Free <br />Africa&#34; criticized apartheid. Around the same time, he suffered a bout with cancer that required the removal of part of his jaw, leaving him facially <br />disfigured. Always a fighter, he nonetheless returned to action with the hit Fats Domino cover &#34;Blueberry Hill,&#34; and moved to the Ras label to <br />record the well-received Yellow Like Cheese album with producer Philip &#34;Fatis&#34; Burrell. <br />Yellowman&#39;s recording career continued apace, as his sexual boasts and gay jokes kept getting raunchier and nastier. His popularity had slipped <br />after 1985, due in part to less consistent material, and also in part to the emergence of a legion of new dancehall artists, many of whom harked <br />back to his early material for inspiration. Things changed, however, after an early-&#39;90s bout with skin cancer. Greatly shaken after this second <br />life-threatening illness, Yellowman completely rethought his approach to music, and thereafter devoted himself almost exclusively to spiritual and <br />social concerns. 1994&#39;s Prayer album (still on Ras) was the first effort in this new direction, and it was followed quickly by Message to the <br />World in 1995. 1997&#39;s Freedom of Speech continued in a similar vein, after which Yellowman switched over to the Artists Only label. His first <br />effort was 1999&#39;s Yellow Fever, which concentrated on conscious reggae but also featured some good-natured party tracks. Following the 2003 <br />release of New York, Yellowman entered a lengthy recording hiatus, though he continued to perform live. <br />In 2019, 16 years after his last album, he returned with No More War. The LP was the inaugural release on Yellow Baby Records, a label <br />launched by Yellowman&#39;s daughter K&#39;reema, with whom he also collaborates.</p>

They blend<br />the sounds of Cumbia Sonidera, 60’s soul ballads and classic romantic boleros that emanate from radios, backyard<br />parties and dance clubs of Los Angeles with the twang of Peruvian Chicha and Bakersfield Country.</p>

<p>Peter Mayer, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, has been with Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band for over three decades. Mayer also follows his own musical path with both national and international tours and has released 20 live and studio albums to date. Over his years in music he has been privileged to share the stage with many bright lights in the music industry including James Taylor, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Don Henley, Dave Matthews, and many others.</p><p>Brendan Mayer, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, has been building a following, laying his tracks in the music world. He released his first album, the “Getaway Car” EP, on Jimmy Buffett’s Mailboat Records, after touring a year with Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band in 2014. He has spent the last months working on his latest release, “Best at the Show,” which is due out this year. He performs regularly on his solo tours.</p><p>Brendan and Peter joined forces in 2017 to record their debut album, “Long Story Short.” With both songwriters contributing to the list, this collection of twelve songs showcases the father and son’s unique musical directions that, together, weave a unified sound with compelling lyrics and inventive melodies. The result is two voices turned into one with their bloodline harmony.</p>

<p>In 2017, Grammy-nominated artist Joan Osborne released the critically acclaimed album, <em>Songs of Bob Dylan</em>. Her artistic and soulful reinterpretations of the selection of Dylan songs was an eye-opening moment in an already celebrated career.</p><p>Eight years after milestone recording, Osborne will release the stunning Dylanology Live on April 25th. The captivating recording finds the gifted vocalist performing in front of a live audience, with special guests Amy Helm, Robert Randolph and Jackie Greene. Songs include “Spanish Harlem Incident”, “Buckets Of Rain” “Masters Of War”, “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You” and “High Water (For Charley Patton)”.</p><p>The first song off Dylanology Live is Osborne’s reimagined psychedelic-blues-infused rendition of “Highway 61 Revisited.”  To be released February 20th.</p>
